Localization
The localization process involves much more than a direct word-for-word translation of a film or documentary script. The translator must understand the project's content, maintain the meaning and context of the original version, and effectively convey it in another language.
Additionally, the translated version must be adapted to suit dubbing or subtitling parameters, considering factors such as the duration of spoken words, reading speed, characters per line, and cultural nuances.
Backstage Studios Latin America is dedicated to maintaining a high standard in our translations and projects, as this forms the basis of many of our services. To ensure perfect adaptation, we also offer graphic re-versioning to change all on-screen texts and images to the targeted language in our state-of-the-art video post-production studio.
